Doesn’t sound good at all. There are often lemons and it’s part of the risk buying Chinese. I order over 3 of them and not one had any issues on arrival, but it’s down to luck. My last i7 Book I did a new Windows 10 install and then in the driver’s section restore the drives. No issues as far as I remember, but that was a while ago.

Might be the easier option for you. Just remember when you create a USB pen drive from the Media Creator for Windows 10. Choose to install Single language Windows 10 Home. Then the license embedded in the bios will work fine and activate.

Thanks for your suggestions. I feel much better about just doing a clean install.

    Very helpful

I still don’t like the charging port. I wish it could be charged via the usb port.
