Managed to finally login (had my junk filter on…D’oh!) Anyways, just received my stylus, after a few tweaks here and there (language) have it more or less the way I want. I have been connecting to my wireless display adapter, and I notice that the wifi adapter sorta drops my connection (screencasting  is ok, but wifi shows limited connectivity).  Do you think the tinfoil approach would help, or is there other drivers available (updated through windows, in the hopes this would fix it – no go, after a minute or so my wifi shows full connectivity again, but it would be nice to be connected during screen casting.

One other question, I have the infamous 8.1 Pro activation (kmspico) , but I have a valid key for 8.1 Pro and media center on my craptastic little netbook , that I would like to use, (deactivate/activate). I have the 8.1 key, but cant find the media center key; do I need both? And should I just change the product key on this install? or do a fresh 8.1 install then upgrade to 10 later on?

I actualy have someone who is Chinese (new owners of our company), should I let her do a reinstall in Chinese , then install language pack? I understand that win 8.1 with bing, would be the win 10 home version update. I plan to use this for work, and like the idea of using the pro version.

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi

I Followed advice given here to stop the bluetooth. (near frequency band, same antenna) And wifi improved quite a bit.

My recommendation is to stick with kmspico and go for the offer from Microsoft to uppgrade to w10. (I got the offer today and have used my Cube 3 days now. ) The result will be a “genuine” w10, but can theoretically be traced back by microsoft as the installation has not been based on a retail installation.

A non traceable method is to install w7, run a program called loader, and convert to w10+drivers

Thanks, I will try the Bluetooth fix. I will try the upgrade as well, however I DO have a native Chinese person, who could reinstall , I am think I will contact seller for original (bing) key? However, you say the upgrade gave you full English? I have also noticed I can’t download any windows stor apps

    again, thanks

Can anyone confirm the latest (stable) drivers for wifi module for Win 10 ? Currently driver installed: 1027.4.0630.2015,  should be 1030.0.0515.2015 ?

This seems to have a VERY weak wifi card, it I s pretty much doing what my venue 8 pro would do, before I updated from their website. Basicaly, what happens is, if I  use miracast, the module will cause the internet connection to be lost “limited”, after disconnection from wireless display, it will (sometimes) reset the connection, combine that with using a Bluetooth mouse, and everything kinda goes south. I hope I don’t need to use a wifi dongle with the keyboard, as it defeats the purpose of the internal module (My cheap android phone does a better job of this) , I also notice that wireless connection/Bluetooth/and micro SD card can and will all disconnect while attaching keyboard. Are there any drivers for composite usb device (keyboard) that may be required?

(On a side note, can the module be upgraded/replaced? Or will the tinfoil hat hack help? This seems to be a major drawback to this device. I haven’t opened up yet to upgrade the ssd yet, and haven’t seen were module is located.
