    Hi everyone,

I bought the k9c6 dual boot tablet from teclast. Great tablet, but with a small problem.

I tried to install cerberus, but it is not possible because of the serial number. I asked the developer, and he answered the following :

Sorry but Cerberus does not work on your device model, because they all have the same serial number (To0be0filled0by0O0E0)

I didi a cat /proc/cmdline and got the “fake”  serial number. It is pasted below.

    • console=tty0
    • androidboot.bootreason=reboot
    • androidboot.serialno=To0be0filled0by0O0E0
    • g_ffs.iSerialNumber=To0be0filled0by0O0E0
    • Loglevel=5
    • ·         androidboot.hardware=cht_ffd
    • ·         firmware_class.path=/system/etc/firmware
    • ·         i915.fastboot=1
    • ·         i915.i915_rotation=1
    • ·         vga=current
    • ·         i915.modeset=1
    • ·         drm.vblankoffdelay=1
    • ·         enforcing=0
    • ·         androidboot.selinux=permissive
    • ·         console=ttyS0,115200n8
    • ·         bootboost=1
    • ·         pm_suspend_debug=1
    • ·         pstore.backend=ramoops

I wonder if it happens to someone else and if it’s possible to change it. BTW, the same serial appears in Windows when running aida64.

Thanks in advance for your reading.

You can change it by editing bootinfo.txt. You have to unpack first boot.img with bootimg.exe tool.
