Quick one for people who actually pay attention before creating a casino account: what do you check first when comparing different online casinos? I used to look almost entirely at the welcome bonus, which was probably a bit silly. Then I noticed that a huge bonus can come with pretty annoying wagering rules, while payment options, withdrawal speed, licensing and customer support can matter much more after you start playing. I’m also curious about game variety and whether a casino works properly on mobile. Do you guys have a simple checklist, or do you just go with whichever site looks good at first glance?

That used to be me too — big bonus, shiny homepage, five minutes later I was suddenly reading tiny terms with the enthusiasm of a tax accountant. These days I’d check the licence first, then payment methods, withdrawal conditions, support and whether the bonus actually has reasonable wagering rules. I also compare game selection and mobile usability, because a beautiful desktop site is not much use when the phone version behaves like it was built during lunch break. I found this useful reference in the middle of my research: https://casinomedien.com/. Their testing approach also looks at payouts, limits and responsible-play tools, which are easy to overlook.
