In this thread in the official CHUWI Forum a poster asked “How in the Hell do you change your avatar?”
Unfortunately he only ran into a chatbot that gave the nonsense answer: “Setting – Modify Avatar – Choose Picture (选择图片）- Confirm (确定）”. Nonsense because this is what the poster and I of course too tried to do. Without any description how an acceptable avatar has to look like it was a series of fruitless attempts.
Does anybody here at least know what a “good” avatar for their site is? Pixel size minimum and maximum? File size maximum?April 29, 2017 at 11:03 pm #66284Chris GKeymaster

I’m sorry but this isn’t the Official Chuwi forum, would it be best to ask them there?
Chuwi themselves have done a great job of always jumping in here trying to get people to move over to their forum. Great in a way because I’m not the support guy for them.

Chris, I know that this is *not* the Official Chuwi forum and that it “would it be best to ask them there”.
But how on earth can I do this, if I don’t manage to get an avatar there??April 30, 2017 at 1:09 pm #66308ObinnaParticipant

This has already been talked about there. See this: Link

Yes it has been talked about. But not resolved unfortunately:
“click ‘settings’ then ‘Modify avatar’, then Choose Picture (选择图片）and finally Confirm (确定）” is what I started the the thread with.
I myself ran into the same dead end as the quoted other poster: whatever JPG I choose for an Avatar, it will not be accepted. After a split second the process gets stuck with a percentage number, 10 or 12 or so. Thats all unfortunately.
