Well if windows 10 was reinstalled, that might explain why it’s not working. I did it on my i7 book and I’m annoyed…

    • What does device manager say about it? This would be the first place to start to see if it is still connected/recognised.
    • If not I wouldn’t be surprised if a cable has come out. I’ve had internal cables loosen come out of a tablet (totally different model) through dropping etc.

    thanks for your quick reply.

I’m looking in device manager now do you know what the touchscreen would come under if it was there?

I don’t know if its worth mentioning but the windows on the screen works.

I thought I replied to this

“the windows on the screen works.” = what do you mean by that?

I was thinking make an boot disk with ubuntu 16. either USB or SD and boot live.

At least for the cube i7 book it is FULLY working -touchscreen, wifi/bt etc.

    – this will give you an indication if it is a physical issue or a driver issue. If screen works with ubuntu then it’s a driver issue in Win.

If it doesn’t its something physical. Either the digitizer cable has been dislodged or damaged.

what I meant as the windows touch button where it brings up the start menu works.

Fixed the issue now anyway, just reinstalled windows on it and it worked straight away.

    Thanks
