Emily – maybe you can do something with your dropbox account? We want to help Chuwi customers but it is impossible because of dropbox account is blocked.
October 13, 2016 at 2:46 am #54789Hello, we are dealing with the dropbox link problem. It will be restored in a few days. Please wait in patient.
If you are urgent, you can send your dropbox account to me or Admin by PM on Chuwi forum and we can share the dropbox link with your account. Then you can download it on your own account.October 13, 2016 at 9:29 pm #54844Anyone else getting the $224.99 price tag on the Chuwi Hi12 sale on the linked webpage? Banggood charged me more, and is now refusing to make up for it and basically rejecting the existance of that price on their site…
October 20, 2016 at 2:20 pm #55265I spoke to Chuwi official – they’re saying that they’re low on Hi12 stock. As Chuwi actively sell their products to end customers, they’ve decided not to send out Hi12 units to the retail sellers (Like Banggood, Gearbest, Geekbuying etc) at this point, until Hi12 is in greater stock. This so they know they, as the manufacturer and official retailer, at least can deliver to their own end customers.
So I canceled my order with Banggood. They never admitted their price error, nor would they honor their own Price Protection.Yet they keep posting longer and longer restock dates (Nov.1 as of writing this). And when I said I wanted to cancel the order, they claimet it was ready to ship in 24 hours. Which cannot be true, as Chuwi has not sent them Hi12’s in quite a while, and they won’t do so until they can restock themselves.
So at this point in time – I’d advice against ordering Hi12 from Banggood as there is no knowing at what time it will be back in stock. If you must order with Banggood, at least wait until they actually have it back in stock.

So, where can one get a Chuwi directly from the manufacturer? I spotted a Chuwi Official Store on Aliexpress, is that it?
October 28, 2016 at 2:51 am #55864Chuwi has own official store on Aliexpress and Amazon.
October 28, 2016 at 8:18 pm #55911Which means, if you live in Slovenia – Europe, like me, a country which strictly follows EU rules and regulations, you’re better off ordering the tablet from a european Amazon site. You’ll pay circa the same as ordering directly from China, after domestic custom duties and taxes (65€ in my case), but you’ll have the usually solid Amazon warranty/protection on top of that. If however you live in a EU country with a relaxed bureaucracy, where customs officers amuse themself with more important tasks than checking import papers for each and every single parcel arriving from outside Europe (hello Italy) you will still profit by ordering the tablet from a chinese vendor. Got mine from China but I wish I had bought it from Amazon.de instead.
