We’ve started working with suppliers and buyers in Europe and Asia, and now we’re getting hit with layers of confusing regulations. One day it’s about tariffs, next week it’s licensing, and now someone mentioned potential SEC violations? Our regular business lawyer is great, but international trade law clearly isn’t his thing. Where do you even go to get serious legal advice for something this complex?

I think you have already answered your question. In general, I understand that you are engaged in trade and procurement is an integral part of your business. Have you ever thought about optimizing all processes related to purchasing and working with suppliers? I think it will be extremely useful for you to read the article about requisition numbers, because this is a very smart solution for tracking and managing purchase requests at all stages.
