    Who has experience using solid-state frequency converters in aviation? On-board reliability? I see more and more mentions of solid-state frequency converters in aircraft systems. Has anyone actually installed them on airplanes or UAVs? What are the weak points, if compared with generator units?

    Drones usually use solid-state ones, 100+ hours of flight – no problems. The main thing is to monitor the cooling and EMI filters.
