Why not Mi Pad instead of Mi Pad 2

Hi all

If someone is interested only for the Android version, would be a good idea to go for the first version of Mi Pad because of its better processor? The only drawbacks I can notice are the plastic body and the older Android version. What do you think @chris

I agree with most of them but slower CPU is not true. Actually everywhere I read people talking that Atom is 25% less powerful than Tegra.

Maybe if you can get it cheap. The terga gpu is more powerful.

One is ARM one is x86 so it is a little harder to compare, but generally the Atom in the Mi Pad 2 gets over 2x on benchmarks like Antutu vs the Tegra. This is mostly just for CPU, you may be right about the GPU being better (better for android anyway, not on the Windows side as it wouldnt run windows at all)

The only real advantage of the MiPad2 is the aluminum housing.

MiPad1 is a better tablet in overall:

• Better GPU.
• Faster CPU.
• Better performance.
• Better for gaming.
• MicroSD card slot.
• More battery.
• Supports quickcharge.
