WiFi problem

Hi I am a new owner of x98 pro but I am ver very disappointed the WiFi signal is terrible I have within 2 metres of my modem in order to connect to the internet is there any solution to this problem and most important what do you think id’s it hardware or software problem

In your case hardware. My X98 pro has no problem connecting to a Wifi Router on another room or at 20 meters in my office.

There’s another post here where one user explains that it’s possible that the Wifi antenna is not correctly connected on the motherboard.

Hi,

I have a teclast X98Pro chinnese edition. I also have a problem with the WiFi. The problem appears in Windows 10 and Android. The WiFi cannot connect to the router, or the tablet lost the signal. Dou you think is it a hardware problem? I only have this tablet for one month and it is very strange this failure.

Hi,

I can confirm that it is a hardware problem, since when I put my tablet close to my router (20cm), the WiFi works.

I contacted to Teclast.es and they don’t want to support me because my Teclast is a chineese version.
