Win10 drivers for fresh installs

Hi all,

First of all thanks for your support, there’s planty of useful information on this forum and it’s been nice to find some useful tricks in here.

 

That being said, I’ve an A5C8 Dual Boot plus and I’ve reformatted the disk to a single OS with an official release of Win10.

 

I’d like to say to all the people planning to do this, that I forgot to save the Win Key pre-installed on the original installation from factory, and after my brand new install Windows was able to read it from the BIOS, so, good news here.

 

But… even I installed the last drivers package from this forum I’m running 3 issues (at least):

Cameras not working (not a certificate issue, different drivers from some posts of this forums didn’t help, neither latest drivers).

Another device not found (Didn’t fount what this could be yet)

Physical Volume Keys not working. Vol – does nothing, and Vol + sends a Ctrl + Alt + Del to Windows.

 

Any help with this problems will be greatly appreciated. It’s a present to my wife and I’d like to have it fully working ^_^

there are 2 driver packs for this tablet on this forum, forget the one which has only about 150mb size, i have found a driver pack with a size of about 300 mb (hosted on mega as far as i remember) …and i did also a clean reinstall with this driver pack and i do not have your issues, only thing i noticed is that the camera app always crashes when i start to record a video (but it also did this with the factory image)

Thanks a lot krikkitwar!! You’ve made my day!! It works flawlessly!

Now everything works, Vol buttons, camera (front + rear), EVERYTHING works as intended.

Some admin should post this package in download area instead the one that is currently posted, before this 300Mb driver’s pack is removed from MEGA.

Agreed, the 150 MB driver pack is missing some stuff. To anyone with the 300 MB driver pack, please share it somewhere so we can put up multiple copies.

Here is the driver pack which I used for clean installation when Creators Update was released, it is the combination of 150 Mb and 300 Mb, everything is working fine for me.

Hi I have the same issue as you have. I had to reinstall windows and now I have no drivers. Can someone make them available for me again. I mean the biggger size package you all refer to. Does this one have exe files or also just inf. How can I make Windows install all of these by itself. Any hint?

It took me a few days to get the touchscreen, cameras and accelerometer working after the latest Windows 10 update. With this setup, both cameras work and they’re not upside down, rotation and touchscreen work properly.
