    I finally was able to figure out how to put the table into Windows Recovery mode and recovered the stock Windows image from the recovery partition.

    I could not figure out any other way to fix this problem.

    Why the hell would Microsoft offer a 0% screen brightness option and have no way to recover from a blank screen?

    Because 0% cannot turn off the screen it is on maximum dim, not blank screen and it is very useful for night reading, as previous 25% is too bright.

    I suspect that you had some issues with drivers or something else to go to blank screen after upgrade…

    I have similar problem. Can you please share how did you manage to get it back from 0% to 25?

    I know it might look stupid, but next time use a flashlight and put it really close to the screen, you should be able to see (if the tablet is turned on) a really dark image, but that’s normally enough to set the brightness to a higher percentage.
