Just got me a Rapoo E6300 Bluetooth keyboard. Works very nice in Android, but I’m having problems with Windows 10.
After pairing (which has me type a code on the keyboard) the keyboard shows as Connected for a few seconds in Windows under Manage Bluetooth devices, and then goes back to Paired. No matter what I try, that’s the end of the line.
I can remove the device and repeat the process, but it’s just the same procedure over and over. Anyone successfully used a BT keyboard with the X98 and Windows 10?
The Windows 10 installation is the one it was shipped with; not installed by me. I guess it’s Teclast standard Windows 10 installation, if Banggood didn’t upgrade their stock of Windows 8 X98 tablets themselves.
Yes, I have successfully paired and used many bluetooth devices on my X98 in Windows 10, including:
2 keyboards
a mouse
A gamepad
A multimedia headset (microphone and headphones)September 23, 2015 at 5:56 am #11805This one I had no problems pairing and connecting.
Ergonomic Design Bluetooth 3.0 Mouse Support 10m Operating Distance – BLACK
Also this mouse is quite good.
Just try swiping the activity center and click connect and find your devices to connect.
September 23, 2015 at 6:38 am #11808I have no problem with my BT mouse – Just keyboard. Rapoo support (See quote below) asked me for what bluetooth chipset is in the tablet – I know it’s Realtek, but has anyone a clue to model? Haven’t been able to Google up further info on that.
What’s the information about the Bluetooth chipsets of your windows 10 tablet? The keyboard E6300 may be not compatible with your windows 10 tablet.
After yet another remove device/add device cycle, it stayed in Connected for almost a minute after pairing, before going back to Paired – However, nothing happen when I tried to use the keyboard.
In Action Center, the keyboard isn’t even listed.
It may well be that this particular keyboard wont play nice with X98/Windows (as it’s specifically for iPad) at all, but I’ve read reviews where it seems like it should work across the board. Ah, well, I guess I’ll try to return this kbd and go for some other model. As we in Sweden have a somewhat odd layout to cater for our strange umlauts, (å, ä and ö), buying keyboards from my usual sources (=China based on line retailers) isn’t an option, as US keyboards seems to be all they carry.

I’ve the same problem here.Nick
February 4, 2016 at 5:55 am #24926Nope. Returned the Rapoo keyboard and tried another “brandless” (and cheaper) keyboard – And that worked without any problem.
June 6, 2016 at 7:10 am #39968I have no problem with each individual OS pairing with the BT devices. (be it mouse or keyboard) But I have major problem with using the same mouse and or keyboard for a dual boot system without un-pairing and pairing each time I switch OS (e,g, from android to win and from win back to Android). In lieu of using two mice and two keyboards, is there a way to pair the keyboard with both OS? Anyone has some any experiences to share?
I have noticed the BT keyboard that I bought from Teclast already has some special functions labeled on the letter q, w, and e for Android, Win and iOS. Just that there is no instructions that came with the keyboard. And multiple email messages to Teclast and Gearbest has met with no answer. Your help with this is much appreciated.
