What about the USB ports, will they power an external HDD now?

Hi, I updated everything proposed by windows so far and didn’t have any problems (didn’t force anything though). Only problem might be Disk space if you don’t have much left (by default it’s enough).

October 14, 2016 at 5:36 pm #54895The easiest way to upgrade to Windows 10 Anniversary is to bypass windows updates altogether, and run the special utility provided by MS on the Windows 10 update history page. That will give you essentially a fresh installation of v.1607.
Next, install the latest October 11, 2016—KB3194798 Cumulative Update to bring the OS to Build 14393.321. Direct link to the msu can be obtained from Microsoft Update Catalog, or the tenforums website.
Finally, run Disk Cleanup to remove the Windows.old folder left behind.
Best regards,

After the update any problem about drivers or something?
October 24, 2016 at 3:28 am #55463- No issues with drivers here, although you may have to update the Broadcom drivers manually.
- Always prudent to do a complete drivers backup before the update. I use DISM++.
