I took the dive and do an upgrade using the latest Windows 10 insider preview ISO. Everything was fine apart from the touch driver issue was we know is caused by Windows update messing with the touch fw file.
Once I moved my Silead fw files to C:/system32/drivers and reboot it was fine. So far, so good Windows 10 runs fine and this build is quite stable, no issues apart from the one Search bar lag and crash. It’s activated from my Bing 8.1 licence, well it says activated for now. Taking a while to get use to having a start menu again for restart and shutdown. I do miss the charm bar swiping from the right bezel to the left. And brightness is in steps now 25%,50%,75% and 100% and no fine tuning from the charm bar like before, I do miss that.
Anyone else running Windows 10. I had space issues and killed of Android and recovered some 9GB to help it.
Battery life seems worse of, maybe 30 minutes less or around that.

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30July 14, 2015 at 9:57 am #6970Hi,
Might be a dumb question but how do you boot from iso in these? I have tried the power up with volume down button on but it just gives me the option to choose to boot into android or windows. I’ve got my bootable usb stick with the iso on it but just cant get the device to pick it at boot time. I already went with the auto update from 8.1 to w10 10130 but want to go to the latest. I might well also bin the android side if I can get something like Bluestack emualtor working on it.Cheers
MartinJuly 14, 2015 at 3:48 pm #6989Just seen it in another post – keyboard attached hit escape on reboot when chuwi logo comes up. As an aisde I have tried a few programs to run as an android emulator with no luck – AndyOS, Bluestacks, Youwave and Genymotion – Various errors but I assume we are under rammed. If anyone has done this I would like to know.
July 14, 2015 at 5:11 pm #6994If you had any success in booting up the bootable USB, I guess you can use android X86.
OR try the link to an android emulator extracted from Cube i7.http://techtablets.com/download/Misc/Android%20Emulator/MEmuSetup-Cube-20150410.exe
July 15, 2015 at 12:40 pm #7022Thanks, the file in the link would not install for me I got a decompression error on memu.ova, I’ll try the other option and see.
July 27, 2015 at 4:05 pm #7625When Windows 8 came, i insists to use Windows 7 for few years. I was afraid with Win 8 radical changes make me out of comfort zone in Windows 7
Now that i am using Win 8.1 (at least in the tablet), i am afraid of Windows 10 make me need to changes many things here and there again. lol.
