You will not need the licence key. I guess it’s in the uefi or whatever but I did not had to input it when I changed the ssd and did a fresh install from a blank new ssd.

The following URL is the official information regarding Win10 installation on i7 book (i16) but it is in Chinese.

Does somebody have steps in English to follow it?

I was asked to make an account and wasn’t able to do it.

Or if someone has downloaded it, can they upload it DropBox or Google Drive?

The file is huge, near to 8 gigs, so I’m afraid most of us here don’t have the means to host it. Just to share, I was able to use the reset feature successfully, took about an hour for me, so another of those YMMV things it seems.

    Hi mshayanh13,

I was able to install baidu-yun housekeeper, create an account and start the download. However, the download has a size of 7.44 GB. And at exactly 2.5 GB the download speed went to 0Bytes/s (after 6 hours downloading). So I assume that I am temporarily suspended by the great firewall of China. Will restart the download tomorrow and see how much I can download than. For now, I assume it is going to be a lengthy process to just get the file out of China, provided it will ever complete.

I did not manage to copy the file to cloud storage and download from there, as the standard storage in a free account is 5GB (file is 7.44GB). And without knowledge of the chinese language, nor a chinese bank account, it is yet unclear to me how I can get some more cloud storage, so I hope the download resumes and finishes later next week….. Hi All,

File from Baidu/Yun is downloadable, from the neteherlands at least, after creating a baidu account over the mobile phone, logon to the new account via the phone (do not forget to change the +86 to your country code in both operations), then open your profile and set a nickname (left top corner of the profile), so you can use it to login in the download app. Download the download app from baidu (a resource.db floats on the internet, which translate most chinese into english in this app). Download. Have patience, as you get stopped for 24 hours multiple times. The rar itself contains a win10, ec and bios directory, plus a word file. I attached the word file, for those who want to determine whether they need the 7.44 Gbyte file. Someone else has to put the file through google translate, to filter out the chinese part. For the first 10 who get stuck, login to the forum, sent me a personal message and I will share the 7.44 Gbyte file over google drive (need a google gmail name, in order to share). I only look into my email over the weekend. Adriaan

I was able to download from Baidu but it’s huge and I can’t upload it with my shared internet, the upload speed is a lot slower then the download speed.

It’s ok, I’m using jDownloader right now to download. With jDownloader you do not need an account and only need to fill in the password for the file. It’s gonna take 10 hours to download so I hope it wont crash somewhere but at least it’s downloading right now.

I did the same and it took forever but I was able to finish.
