Windows 10-Reset this PC

Hello,

I have the Teclast X98 Air 3G dual boot (Windows 10 & Android 5). I was thinking whether it’s safe to use the option ‘Reset this PC’ to have a clean windows. It’s easier than a fresh installation.

Hi,

I’am afraid not. On my example, used this function to get rid of the remaining chinese texts from my windows and its failed to complete.

By using this function, you might have kill your windows, stuck on around 66% of restore.

Be careful, mine running on windows only, since then.

I have the same problem, not finish the process.

Its a big problem, because there is the same problem with big update of windows, as november update.

I actually managed to install the big November update after a first unsuccessful attempt since I forced the tablet to turn off as it was taking too much time. But then, it downloaded the update again and I left it overnight to install. Next morning, it was all done…

Hi Irfaan, after reset was all the Chinese gone? Currently I have residual Chinese language I can’t get rid of, from lock screen or wallet when buying apps… rest of windows is ok…. just a few things have Chinese..any help, advice or links would be great..cheers J.
