“iwdbus” is the driver that failed to install, if that helps.
August 4, 2015 at 2:55 pm #8505FOLLOW FIX ON MY THREAD
August 4, 2015 at 5:25 pm #8515This is all messed up. I tried the calibration thing and it fixed 90% of the screen, but the right edge was still on the fritz. I decided to try to install windows from a different ISO and for some reason when it first boots it says “defaultuser0” and asks for a password. After doing so research it seems I’m pretty much screwed as MS is not going to release the password…
I want to now try to go back to go back to the ChuwiISO install file, but my options are limited as I am stuck at the main screen. I have the ISO file on my USB drive..but does anyone know how to boot up from an ISO, or from the USB drive in general?
August 4, 2015 at 5:57 pm #8517If you had calibrated touchscreen earlier, RESET calibration(search for calibrate on taskbar, open application, click RESET)
August 4, 2015 at 6:57 pm #8521I will try that, but at this point I have no way to even access the operating system. I need to figure out how to reinstall the OS using only a USB drive.
August 6, 2015 at 1:58 pm #8792Hey Jeffrey,
In case you’re still stuck with a poorly working touch screen on W10, it might be worth your time downloading the ‘Chuwi Hi8 Touch Installer’ from the downloads section and giving that a try. It’s a simple rar with a .bat labeled ‘Install’ and some other files in a separate folder. Basically, you just run Install.bat and reboot. I had the same problem just now and it solved it beautifully. (If the install.bat tells you it didn’t succeed installing, try rebooting anyway.)
If you’re not able to use the tablet at all because of the touch issues, plug in a USB mouse via the OTG cable first. It’ll work just fine and you can use the onscreen keyboard to type stuff.
August 6, 2015 at 7:02 pm #8826I did run that yesterday, and I do think that is what solved it. The touch screen is working now. It was either that, or the Hi8 touch files that instructed me to drag them to the system32 folder.
August 12, 2015 at 4:37 am #9439Where is the ‘Chuwi Hi8 Touch Installer’ download? Can’t find it anywhere…
August 13, 2015 at 7:53 pm #9598I’m also looking for the Chuwi Hi8 Touch Installer. Can’t find it in the Downloads section. Any help is appreciated.
August 13, 2015 at 9:59 pm #9622Look two or three discussion down this thread “<span style=”color: #000000; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 12px; line-height: 1.5;”>Request for Touchscreen driver file SileadTouch.fw” </span>
i had the same problem as you the only silly thing when installing chuwi touch driver you have run as administrator the install.cmd otherwise it result in fail. I can’t believe you went through all this mess.

November 15, 2015 at 1:36 am #15832Hi all,
I updated my Chuwi Hi8 to Win10 tonight via the Microsoft official update and now I cannot log in to Windows as the touchscreen is totally messed up. It is like the screen has been flipped so a,s,d are now enter and swipe up and down have been reversed.
I’m not the savviest individual when it comes to drilling down into tech and messing around with files and things. Is there an easy way to fix this problem? Everything is fine in Android.
