on my chuwi vi8 i can access the sd card from android but i can’t see it on windows 8.1
the driver on device manager is 3 of intel sd host controller
i sd card dosen’t even show on the disk management
This is a known problem. Android grabs and holds onto the SD card port and this is why.
To enable access, after you switch to Windows 8.1, Eject the card, re start Windows 8.1 and then re insert the card. Windows will now see it.
Thanks Justin for help 🙂
Isn’t there any other solutions i don’t use the SD card in android I need it only for windows
Then this is what you do:
In Windows, restart to free the SD card.
Before switching to Android, remove the SD card.
When you switch back to windows, insert the card and windows will recognise it.
If someone else knows of any other “fix” please post it here.
