Windows failed to Reset now I'm stuck

Hi

I tried to do a windows reset on the Windows Partition of my Chuwi Hi12 – everything appeared to be going well but then it just failed with an error message telling me there was a problem with the reset. Now whenever I boot the device it goes straight to the windows image but boots straight into windows recovery and nothing I do will bring windows back.

The reset does not work….
Now you have to reinstall the Windows 10 from the image chuwi is providing

Important point to remember – Reset does not work on dual boot tablets

OK.. I’ve tried 6 times now and all that happens is the USB drive is turned into the windows drive.. does not seem to go to the correct partition on the internal drive

You downloaded the chuwi HI12 Windows image und put it on the root of an USB stick?
Formatted with rufus as bootable?

Figured it out, there was an issue with my original USB drive – it wouldn’t format correctly. Swapped it out, followed the same steps and Bobs your uncle it worked. Me happy now!!
