Windows on ARM

So MS announced that Windows 10 will run on ARM processors using emulation and from demo it seems pretty nice. But what are your thoughts? Is ARM can compete with Intel’s and AMD’s chips? Will we see now chinese cheaper tablets with ARM chips running windows? I’m really happy about this move and MS is heading right direction imo.

I too am glad msft is continuing the course to keep x86 on small devices especially phones. Maybe arm can make the breakthroughs that hampered RISC. I’m still hopeful that someday Intel will reopen the legacy small devices x86 fabrication. I guess amd decided not to ever help in the phone dept
