Windows 10 is still very unstable and unsafe to use. Microsoft does not beta-test their Windows updates and uses people out there as beta testers. There were a few Windows 10 updates over the last months which causes boot-loops and bluescreen-loops. Problem is you cant switch off normal updates and keep security updates they come together. I would turn on Computerschutz (sorry don’t know the translation for it): http://i.imgur.com/f9XXnVx.png Also create a working recovery point with the last bottom.

From my experience, the only devices Windows 10 is unstable on are devices which aren’t certified for it.  I do IT for a small company and we have a set of laptops which are 3-4 years old.  They aren’t certified on it even though they should technically be able to run it, but we have all kinds of small issues so we stick to Windows 7.  The laptops which are certified for Windows 10 never have issues.

I’m up to date on all of my Windows 10 updates on my iwork 10 and I haven’t seen anything go wrong.  You should be fine.

Unless your version is from a questionable source. I always reinstall and I never have update related problem. I do know that some China retailer will rip off the win lic off a table, replace it with a “questionable copy” and reuse the LIC on a PC.

What ScutMonkey said is totally not true. There were at least 2-3 Windows updates since release and today, which rendered Windows 10 bricked for a lot of people. Just google about it, too lazy to link those articles. It’s like Russian roulette to update Windows 10. Here is just one media article about one of them: http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2015/08/windows-10-update-loop-error-is-bricking-pcs/ and there were at least a few of those. There is even a bug right now on the current update, which can render your PC semi-bricked (Windows will enter a state of “starting update” process while rebooting and never get out of it anymore).
