    There can be additional input lag if you use a Bluetooth mouse. That’s the real disadvantage between the two.

    Use a USB port for sure. BT lags too much.

    The reason for asking was I did not want to monopolise the single USB port but thinking about it more I will probably only want to use the mouse with the keyboard and then I can use one of the USB 2 ports.

    Just a quick update – I do understand that a BT mouse can be laggy but having read a ton of reviews it seems that the Microsoft 3600 BT mouse does not suffer from this problem. I have just ordered one and when I have received it (and the tablet!) I will post my experience here.
