see the other thread with the very latest bios update… it may solve this
January 30, 2016 at 1:15 am #24369Okay what the hell?
I have literally spent hours, reinstalling the OS, just ran MemTest64 for 2 hours, then spent hours creating a Windows To Go HDD, and it turns out that the tablet HATES the case I got for it. That is what is send the screen crazy. Take the case off and its running well.
Got my old tablet case out and ran it along the back of the Hi10 and only when the top of the case touches the top of the Hi10 does the screen turn off, not go crazy, just turns off, remove the case and the screen comes back on. I’m assuming this is just that feature where flip cases automatically turn the screen off.

January 30, 2016 at 1:32 am #24371Newer update, just flashed that newest BIOS. Screen no longer goes crazy with new case. Though when I fold the case backwards to use the tablet, it turns the screen off, is there a way to disable the case closed sensor?
January 30, 2016 at 8:57 am #24390Glad you figured it out. I’m having the same issues with the original Chuwi case I received. When folding back (tried folding it two different ways) there still seems to be some interference with the sensor and the screen goes bonkers. Stupid design IMO. I never intended to use the tablet with this case, nor did I want it, but yeah… Aliexpress.
May 1, 2016 at 12:27 am #35677I’m having a similar issue. I did a reset on my Hi12 and it didn’t complete. Now it just loads in black chuwi page and then restarts. How do you enter BIOS? I am not well versed in computers. I have a docking station and have tried the F2 key and the Delete key to no avail. I’m sooo pissed.

Try connecting a keyboard and press Esc on boot.
