You may need to return your unit and have it replaced I haven’t been having those issues and I’ve been using mine daily since December 1st.
My video driver did go down once sometime during the first three days of use and only on the Windows side, but, to date there hasn’t been any major and or minor issues that prohibit regular use.
As for USB charging;
Because the charging amperage is rated at 3.5Amps and a USB is going to do approx 2.5Amps max, its going to take a very long time to charge. I have done this with a portable battery pack and though I left it connected, after approx 12hours only about 15-20% was charged.
December 16, 2015 at 5:46 pm #18845Update:
- Turns out the charger is defective. I did some google searching and just decided to go with a lower amp charger.
- Finally got ahold of my seller. I was told to do a factory restore in Windows to fix the display driver issue. Fine why not. Did it and now I have ZERO Wi-Fi on both android and Windows. I also have ZERO rotation ability (G-Sensor) . Got the Win10 Drivers from here, and so far nothing has brought my Wi-Fi or sensors back. Did a restore on Android as well. Nothing has changed.
What a lemon.December 17, 2015 at 9:17 am #18941Sorry to hear about your tablet. International buyer’s biggest fear.
Where did you get it from? Gearbest\Banggood? If from AliExpress, which seller?December 17, 2015 at 9:49 pm #19010I’ve had my X16 Pro for a few days now. And WiFi on Android is very slow. So I did a speedtest and I’m getting around 3mbps/2mbps on Speedtest.net on Android and around 13mbps/2mbps on Windows. Hopefully there’s a software fix released by Teclast.
The screen responsiveness isn’t as good as I was hoping for, I’m constantly having to tap multiple times to select things. There’s lag while scrolling websites, and takes upto 5 seconds to open a file or app.
I’m not sure how other Chinese Tablets performance compares with the X16 Pro as this is the first Chinese Tablet I’ve owned and tbh, I’m not that pleased with it. This will most likely be the first and last Chinese Tab I buy. I solely bought this Tablet based on the specs, but unfortunately it seems like the software side of things have let this down.
I kind of regret it now, I should’ve not cheaped out and paid extra and bought the Google Pixel C.

I too have a problem with the Location Setting on my android OS on X16 Pro. Its pissing me off as no map will recognise my current location. Its seems to work fine windows (even though location is not 100% accurate). I would really appreciate if you had any suggestions in fixing it.

December 25, 2015 at 9:43 pm #19947Regarding my purchase, it was Aliexpress seller Shenzhen OKQI Electronics Mall . They have a 22,000+ rating with 97.3% positive, yet there biggest issue seems to be communication and shipping. I’ve sent almost a dozen emails and messages and one response has been given which was to reset everything. When I told them I did that and it made it worse, they haven’t said a single thing. I even got them on chat one night and they wouldn’t answer even come up with a Hello. Worst seller ever.
Spilled water on my keyboard, and already lost 4 keys functioning, so I ordered another one this time with Gearbest. (ordered it 6 days ago and it’s still “processing”. )
I will be eventually looking for a new rom to replace this one. So since my tablet is already more finicky than others, I don’t mind being the guinea pig test pilot.
