My advice to all those using teclast X16 PRO is that it’s better if you download novalauncher and keep the custom launcher also . In that way you can avoid rooting device and other problems.

What kind of change do you made to improve the battery life? I have problem with standby mode on Android. It drains the battery too fast. I never tested on Windows. Does your improvement affects this issue and how long lasts the battery after that?

    Bien hecho, Pedro.

    Gracias.

Una pregunta que le interesará a bastante gente no muy experimentada en este tipo de cosas, tienes pensado hacer un tutorial explicando el como lo has hecho?

    Sería una gran ayuda.

    Un saludo

I’m confussed. Does this solve the battery problems that the original Android has in standby mode? This would be the only reason for me to install it. It’s very anoying how little time Android last in that mode (specially comparing it to my old ipad 2).

If anyone could explain me this or how to solve the battery issue I would really appreciate it

    Thanks

NO it does not solve it. In Standby mode it’s still draining power.

    Unfortuntely!!!

Easy job flashing the x16pro with Pedro´s method.

Working fine, looking far better than before and bat is lasting longer. still some room for improvements but definetlly is a huge improvement for this tablet in both look and performance.

Teclast options menu is poor and ugly, maybe keeping in mind some mods on the core system for future revissions “Xiaomi or Ubuntu style, for example” will make it look awesome.

All the best and gracias de nuevo Pedro.

    Report ROM bugs in Android

    1. touch sensitivity still not good, need touch harder to have response
    2. WiFi & Bluetooth cannot be used at the same time, only WiFi or only BT are workable

To all who have battery drain, have you changed Wi-Fi settings ? Because it’s help a lot.

    Wi-Fi–> “the three little points”–>advanced settings–>disable options 2 and 3.

    Rino.
