X2 Pro doesn't boot, please help!

Hi all,

my X2 Pro doesn’t boot up anymore.

The background is, and I know it was REALLY stupid, that I tried to charge the tablet with reversed polarity. The charging plug came off, and I didn’t know which way it was supposed to be and just tried. I don’t know what I was thinking, and I know it’s my fault.

The reason I still have hope is that both the red charging LED, and when I’m trying to start it, the white LED as well, are still working.

 

Does someone may have tips for me on what else I could try to get the tablet working again?

hmm, as far as I know, the device shouldnt be damaged by charging with reversed polarity. What happens when you press the power button?

when pressing the power button, the white led starts shining, nothing else happens.
I removed the backplate and there was a brown spot at the charging port, it also smelled funny, so there was propably a short circuit..

Have you tried to start it when plugged in a tv using  a HDMI-cable?

Yes I did, no signal.
