Hello!
Since the Anniversary Windows Update, I have a problem with my SDHC card. It mounts and unmounts endlessly. It is formatted with exFAT.
I tried to uninstall the drive. But when I restard windows, the drive is reinstalled and the problem is still present.
I can’t uninstall the drivers (or don’t know how) : Windows uses its own.
I tried an other SD card formatted with NTFS, but no difference.
I bought a Micro SDCard Reader Adapter and I see that my SD cards are working fine.
It’s probably a driver problem. I’ve looked at different threads but found no solution.
Does anyone know what I can do?
Thanks,

Try the following:
Rub the card contacts very gently with a pencil rubber/eraser or you can use a spirit cleaner like the type for cleaning glasses, surgical wipes work as well. Don’t use any wipes containing soap or other residue forming solutions. When installing the card, make sure you do not touch any of the contacts on the card.
Use a can of compressed air and blow this into the Card slot. If you simply blow into the hole yourself, you will be putting as much moisture as air inside the device which can lead to corrosion.
What both of these solutions provide is to remove any microscopic dust particles and or oxidization that forms on electrical contacts, through the natural process of having electrical molecules passing through conductive surfaces (see your car battery terminals for an extreme example).

I don’t remember which one i used (for win10 or from original dump), but You simply need to manually “update” driver to one of those. And Your SD card stops disconnecting 🙂 You can find card reader in device manager window under USB devices tree.
