My new model (H6C3) X80 Plus bricked Windows after trying (automatically) and failing to install the Anniversary update (It got stuck at 6%, and after 12 hours in this state I decided to power-cycle it). I’ve managed, after a struggle, to re-install Windows 10 using the guides here, but it took a lot of effort and file tweaking.
Unfortunately I can no longer get into Android. I do get the dual-boot screen, but when I select Android I get the Windows crash screen that is characterised in the first stage of the Windows re-installation. I’m guessing that partitions have got garbled. Is there any way I can tweak the dual boot to look for another partition, or worst case re-install Android without messing up Windows again? I’ve no problem with the inner workings of Windows, but Android is a bit of a mystery to me (and is the reason I bought this tablet in the first place!)
I’ve no reason to believe that I specifically damaged or removed an Android partitions, at least not intentionally, I just have a feel that the dual boot is directing to the wrong one.
Thanks for any help or advice
