we all know the most mistake of the Teclast X80 Power is the poor wifi..
Its nearly useless if you more then 3 or 4 meters away from Wifi Router.. So i opend it and looked inside 😉
I found the Wifi antenna between the micro USB and front Camera half behind the circuit board. I pulled it out there carefuly with a knife and smal screwdriver.
The antenna is verry poor but without the backcase the wifi is 200% better and i have a good conecion 5-7m away with one small wall between. So how we all thougt, the metal backcover is the most problem..
My next steps are cuting a square out of the backcover right there where the wifi antenna find its place and fill the hole of the backcover with white plastic so that it looks not that bad and protects the circuit board.
If you whant i can make some pictures and write up if this mod works the same as with without the complete backcover 🙂
But attention, to open the backcover is not that easy as on the x98 pro because it fits verry close the the front and is verry hard. so if you make it to fast you can broke your screen! and i give no gurentee that it works, all you do you do on your own risk 😉

The mod is done, it takes an Wifi improvement of 100% then bevor. You can not wait for a wonder but now i can use my X80 Power with nearly normal Wifi in the same Room as the Router is and with good/ok wlan a room away with a smal stone wall.
The only thing is, you have to take care that your hand is not complete there where the wlan antenna is because then the wifi is much worse.
