Is an good idea, I follow this topic 😉
May 28, 2016 at 11:31 am #38900Technically, you should only need to delete the Android partitions from within windows. But considering this thing is Chinese, god knows what kind of crazy system they have implemented.
I’m gonna do the same thing once mine arrives, we’ll see if its as easy as it looks….
June 5, 2016 at 2:17 pm #39927I did it. Is it reinstalling like normal pc.
1. Restart it2. Go into bios with del or esc.
3. Go to last and choose the USB stick boot option, which you can make with microsoft official usb tool, because the tablet will no allow you to put some other versions of untrusted for him windows.
That’s it.
Also everything works fine, but there is a bug related with the touchscreen. It is inverted and i cant understand how can i fix it. If you have more information please tell it to me. Tanks 🙂
June 12, 2016 at 1:21 am #40643I’m guessing you might have to trackdiwn the specific drivers for the touchscreen.
June 13, 2016 at 9:28 am #40760There are drivers here in the downloads section. Actually the driver booster of IObit did good work for me. The touchsetting.gt should be placed in the c:\windows\inf folder and marks with readonly attribute. Also before the copy you should change the y2y=1 if your touch is inverted. That’s all.
June 16, 2016 at 9:34 pm #41238Dear Vladimir,
May I ask, can you help to me in this downgrade? I bought a Teclast x80 power, and the windows space is very small, this is not too usefully for me.
Can you write a little bit detailed description how did you do this downgrade and removed the android?
Thank you in advance.

June 25, 2016 at 6:27 am #41936For some reason I cannot get the UEFI firmware to recognise the Windows USB drive I’ve created. Is there any secret option somewhere to turn on/off?
I’ve tried the official Windows media create tool and also the Rufus method to write the drives but it’s not working…
June 26, 2016 at 2:14 pm #42015Using a powered USB hub solved the issue.

Found only this: https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AJ0qoPI1NBCzXtg&id=A120532B51026BDA%21141&cid=A120532B51026BDA

August 4, 2016 at 11:02 am #45579Hello,
i have a X80 Pro, and flashed a fresh Win10. All works good except the Touchscreen. Left is right, I tried the Win calibration but with no success. Is there a calibration File available? And a second question. I use Win only. Is it possible to remove the Bootloader to choose Android or Win?August 4, 2016 at 5:54 pm #45628I found this for X80 Power. Don’t know how it works for X80 Pro.
Please move the touchsetting.gt to C:/Windows/INF overwrite any existing file and reboot. Now the touch screen will be fixed.

January 6, 2017 at 9:44 am #59992IvT – when you did your fresh Win 10 install, did you have any problem getting the mic to work? I have just finished an install but the mic doesn’t work yet, neither the built-in mic nor an external headset mic via the jack socket. Speakers work fine. I have both the Intel SST and Realtek drivers installed. Is there something else required or some trick to get the mic to work?
By the way did you get the touchscreen orientation to work? I eventually found the correct touchscreen file to get mine to work fine!
