    I removed my tablets old battery and directly connected output of LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter Step Down Module

    in LM2596 circuit output is adjusted to 3.7v and the center battery terminal in board a 10k resister is connected to GND.

    LM2596 input connected to 5v (micro USB jack)

    but the tablet does not boot.

    Any idea what I am missing here?, anyone tried the same?
