X80 Pro – No GPS!

When I read the specifications for this Tablet, I though great, 8″ HD screen, perfect for using in the car as a Navigator that I won’t have to squint at. The specs on the Amazon Website where I purchased said Tablet Tecast X80 Pro states in the specification ‘GPS: supported’, but when I try and download PlayStore apps that are GPS related, they all fail stating ‘Your device is not supported by this App’.

I have checked to see if Location is turned on and working in Android. Other than that, I can see no way of checking if GPS is in fact working on this tablet at all. I have run AIDA64 but that doesn’t show if GPS is supported.

Anyone have a solution please?

Thanks, clearly this is a infringement of the Misinformation and Sales Act. Sellers cannot state that a product has a benefit when it clearly does not.

GPS represented something high on my list of wants from a 8″ Tablet.

One way round the issue is to use ScreenCast from my smartphone with its smaller screen and the Tablet. That should work as I do not need to interact at all once it is setup and I still have my phone and music options.
