I experience battery meter miscalculation as follows:
When the meter is off and the tablet is charging, for example, if it is at 65% when it should be at 100%, the meter spikes to 100% but when I unplug it the meter returns to 65%. In this scenario, when drained the battery meter can remain at 1% for several hours.
Calibrating helps for a while but the meter goes off again after a while, the full charge goes to 95% when 90% and can go down to even 40%.
Maybe this was caused by me installing Greenify that extended the battery life of my tablet and the battery is getting drained less when it was before installing the app?
What can be done? Can I override this somehow?
Can I install a different app that will measure my battery or estimate it so I can ignore the device’s battery meter?
Any other option?
