Hey. Just so you know, it opened after a little less than a week and worked flawlessly once again.

Then it happened again and now it won’t charge at all.

It seems as if something drained the battery completely and now it won’t charge at all.

Maybe it’s a HW issue. The battery chip or sth.

    Hi there,

I have the issue too, what i tried , press power and volume up button together, hold it for few seconds, till something appears, if not try power+volume down,+ hold few seconds OR power on + hold. I cannot confirm  but somehow it works for me .

But i suspect more on the Andriod/Teclast UI that caused the problem and Windows, i don’t think i come across.

    Hi All,

I have faced the same situation after the first time charge of the tablet.. I have used the same technique of James and things went well. I believe it happened due to over charging the battery. Afterwards and up to this moment ,the tablet is working very flawlessly.

    Hey there.

Sorry for the late response. Been on vacation with no internet connection and no cell reception (ah, the solitude of the Greek islands :P)

I am currently writing this response from the tablet. It powered on randomly after more than ten days of no signs of life. My guess is that it is an android malfunction.

I figured that both times that this happened I powered off of Android. I pressed the off key and then the options came on. I selected “power off” and probably forgot to press the next ‘ok’.

That drained the battery completely. This somehow messes with the charging thingy and it takes some time to reset. That’s what I can think, I just give it time and charge it from time to time and it magically powers on. Meh. Whatever. It kinda pisses me off.

Anyways. Thanks a lot. If I can help in any way I will.
