    So it appears the charging rate of the x98 pro is a little variable.

     

    Sometimes  hardly charges at all,  but today, its gone from 30% to 60% in 32 min. Which is quite an amazing charging speed.  if only it charged like that all the time, it would be able to do a full charge in just under 2 hours.
