    Hi everyone,
I’ve just bought a brand new X98 Plus (A6C7), and installed mirek’s rom V3 without repartitioning.
However, somehow I’ve lost OTG….can’t specify how or when (just know that when i got the tablet it worked).

Whenever i connect the OTG cable it does not power-up anything. I’ve tried mouse, flash drive, keyboard, both on Windows and Android…and the neither of them powered up (mouse didn’t even light the laser).

Just to clear things, I’ve tested the keyboard, mouse and flash with a PC, all OK. Tested the OTG cable with the same mouse on a different android and it worked just fine.
I can charge the device, connect it to laptop (after noticing this, I was still able to a fresh install of android just in case it was something to do with the flash)…so it does not look like the connector is broken.

Anyone can give me a help with this?

    Thanks

Did you check the status of the OTG setting in the bios?

    Normally it is “Auto”

I couldn’t find that option… Can you walk me through it?

Also, just posted some prints with the BIOS options

    Thanks

I have more tabs in my standard APTio UEFI bios. Looks like Mirek’s ROM doesn’t give you access to them.

Maybe somebody who is using Mirek’s ROM can help.

Just in case anyone runs into the same issue, I had to RMA.

How can you RMA a tablet with a custom ROM?

I was able to completely set it back to factory mode using teclast recovery files.

As I mentioned, the problem was only with the OTG, the micro-usb port was working for data and charging.
