I’d like to know what is fixed and why the new revision, also wondering if this is good or bad for developers working on modded roms for this tablet.

From my understanding of it all it was a China only model with a hacked windows key, which would have made it cheaper for the local market. It has the same hardware as the A5C6 and we also have cam issues if we flash the dual boot bios.

I don’t think so, because some people here in Europe, have received one. The last units sold by GearBest, at least, are A6C7, and are dual boot models, and the Android & Windows works well with the camera (of course).
If you flash the Mirek Rom, then the Camera is not working…

Seems like they a releasing new hardware revisions for both the X98 Plus and 3G models with new cameras and MicroSD fix?

If you are right, then the A5C6 users could be use the Android Rom and the drivers of the A6C7 to fix their handed tablets, couldn’t it?

In reference to several posts regarding Teclast Tablet A6C7 – I received my Teclast X98 Plus A6C7 last week (3/29/16) I could not find out what version I ordered until I received it (only Specs were available). It is dual boot Windows 10 and Android 5.1 4GB ram 64 GB eMMC, Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 Quad Core 1.84 GHz CPU It does not have built in 3g, only external 3g, no phone. Unfortunately the front camera is the same as the back one at 2.0 mp. It is so confusing when you start looking because of some having the same name but with different versions. My main reason for posting besides wanting to give some info was because I would like to know if I would be able to use Mirek’s File for the A5C7 or if I need to wait until he might have a root & ROM specifically for the A6C7? – There appear to be differences among the A6C7 also.

At least, your model has a different camera chipset, and this is why it won’t work with Mirek’s Rom. Other things works well.
Maybe Mirek will give you full support for this model on the next version…

I’m sorry, I’ve totally misunderstood about Model Number.
Model number is not A5C7. A6C7 is correct.
