X98 Plus II Battery issue – any ideas??

Hi all,

I was recently in china and I bought an x98 plus II  (C2D4); The tablet works fine, both with android and windows but I have serious issues of battery drain…. The full battery does not last more than 2-3 hours (android and windows) and even conected to the power supply it keeps on draining. It also drains on stand by mode and the power on button has a 2-3 seconds reaction time…. Really a pity as battery should be one of its strenghts….

I have tried to update the with OTA but doesnt work (network connection issue), but I guess is a common issue outside china.

I have also read that it could be a BIOs issue but I have not been able to update it. (using BIOs updater file form this site in for the X98 Plus).

Did any of you have the same issue? any ideas of how to solve it?

just wonder if you have sorted this problem?
I have exactly the same problem. Battery lasts around 3 hours maximum. other than that I’m happy with this tablet though.

Nop, still the same issue. I have updated most of the drivers without improvement in battery life. I wonder if its a BIOS (but i dont know how to update it) or just a faulty hardware…
