x98 plus, only shows battery charging symbol. won't boot to anything.

Hello, I need help if possible.  My x98 plus went black after about 20 min. of initial use after a full first charge in windows 10.  All that comes up now is the Android battery symbol when charging, it won’t boot into anything.  Can’t seem to get the bios screen either using a powered hub and keyboard with otg either.  Anybody any ideas, besides returning it and taking a $80 shipping hit?

I had this issue when I used a different charger and cable. Simply unplugging the charger from the tablet allowed me to boot it up. You may have to get it actually charged up enough to boot it first though. I don’t think it likes to boot up when there is insufficient amperage to charge.
