X98 Pro only Andorid?

Hi. I’d like to buy a tablet because I’m moving to University and it may be very usefull. I’ve seen the X98 pro and I was wondering if it’s possible to modify the software and install only Android (a custom rom) and remove completly Windows. I have my laptop for windows and I don’t want to use windows on a 9.7″. Otherwise, the android rom preinstalled on the tablet seams to be terrible and it isn’t rooted. Can you please give me some information about? I’ve searched but i found nothing.
