I do think it’s worth it, the issue of max 86 degrees when gaming, could be my unit. I’m not sure until I get more of them to test later on. If you’re a gamer 3Dmark 11 score is almost doubled. But the issue is my unit is getting so hot it throttles a little and this is having an impact on FPS when gaming for over 30 minutes.

I just did a Air 3G vs Pro Windows store gaming test and games are much smoother on the Pro by far. I can see the difference.

For me personally the best things about the pro are:

I can run my 2560 x1440 monitor at its native res.

Overall Windows 10 has less lag and stutter over the older Z3736F

Chrome is much faster (Eats up ram, so the 4GB helps)

Once it charges to 100% when running it will stay at 100%

So for me its a step up and worth the extra. But for tablet gamers. Might pay to hold off and see if the first batch is running hot or my X5 Z8500 is a hot one. COuld be first batch blues. bad heatsink/thermals as my Surface 3 cherry trail didn’t get this hot.

    Hi, Chris

I’m new on the forum but following your site quite regularly in the last couple of months. One and only site you must visit if your plan is to buy any Chinese tablet 🙂 Keep up the good work man!

I’m interested about the advantage that Cherry Trail has over Bay trail in programs like Adobe Photoshop and Indesign? If you can compare it, it would be great. I wanna know does CT feel much faster, like you noticed playing games? I suppose that Core M over Bay Trail is another level, so if you can give me your point of view, it would help me a lot in choosing the right tablet. (current dilemma – Air, Pro or Vi10 – all with keyboards)

    Best regards
