    Hey Mirek, guys,

My built in WiFi is not working anymore so I bought a Wifi dongle (RTL8188EU).

In Win10 it works automatically as expected, but I don’t know how to make it work in Android. I have Mirek’s v2 ROM installed.

Mirek, could you please tell me what chipsets’ drivers are included if your rom? Would it be possible to include it in the next version?

I’ve found some RTL8188EU drivers for linux/android but I’m rather a windows guy, don’t know where/how to include the drivers and how to force android to use the new Wifi instead of the built in.

    Thanks,

    Levente

    Hi Mirek!

    Hi guys!

Thank you so much for your great working in this tablet!

I’m using your rom v3 in my tablet and is very good, much better than original, no black screen, no freeze, no restart, no crash.

All my app work good, except using microsd external card, only way to use them is format in NTFS, but app can’t write automatically in them because don’t appear in list… File mananger and gallery, for example, work good with NTFS, and the speed is really good, but you think is bad use a journaled format sistem in sd-card? Reduce so much the life of the card?

Other question, sometime the triangular key on the lower bar, the key for “back”, disappear… The function still working, only the drawing tringular disappear.

As other guys I have the Wi-Fi not auto-reconnect after stand-by, but I simply solve by off-on the switch, for me is not a problem.

The battery drain on standby in my tablet before kill the battery in 15h, now in more then 70h, good improvement!

I want to thank you specially for flashing sistem, very easy, very good!

Antutu score now is 75k, very good.

I have question for everyone: think possible the porting of MIUI rom of MiPad2 on this tablet? (the hardware are really similar…)

Best rergards (sorry for my bad english)

    Allan

If not working you need add driver  as a module to the kernel …

Hi guys, I just tried to install V3 rom.

Progress went ok both in the pc and the tablet but at the end of the procedure the FLASHER command interface reported some errors:

The tablet rebooted itself and it seems to be ok anyway, just resetted to chinese language. The only thing, there is no play store. Is it right or it should be there? Thanks for your great work.

    You flashed nothing …

Are you sure you download rom ? –> It should be .7z more than 500 MB or unpacked  1680 MB

It look like you used only flashing tool wirhout the rom…

    Dear Mirek,

Hope you well after all sicknesses…

As you recently wrote in one of forums you are working on new ROM for Teclast x 98 Pro…

I would appreciate very much for any information about battery saving is possible. However assume we cannot entirely cheat up inefficient chipset.

First things first – thank you Mirek for this great Rom which has transformed this tablet’s usability and functionality. When your instructions are followed everything works as advertised!

I noticed several individuals complaining that the tablet would crash when coming out of “sleep” mode. I too had this problem, and I found what caused it.

1: I had used Rom Toolbox Pro to change the CPU settings… to noop and interactive. Do not change these settings from the Dev’s default. It will render sleep mode unusable.   And

2: leaving Developer Options enabled had the same effect. The tablet would not successfully revive from sleep.

    Cheers, and thanks again Mirek

    Hi Mirek.
I created my first ROM for my TECLAST X16-PRO.
I used the original ROM and I unpacked the system.img.
    -Remove ALL Chinese applications.
-Default language Spain and time to Europe/Madrid
    -Added Battery optimizations.
    -Added ROOT access.
-Added APEX launcher and removed the TOS.
-Added Its Flash ROM (mirek190) .json for aplizacion FLASH.

I have used your FLASHER_v1.1.bat tool and has worked for me at first, Flaseada in 5 minutes.

    Now Android is much better.

I would like to share with the community this work.
Could incorporate your FLASHER_v1.1.bat tool in the installation package? since I parce an excellent job.

    Thanks advance.

NOTE: Could you tell me which other improvements incorporated into your version V.3.0 and as add to my ROM?

Where to download all those .Exe files? and Where to install them into? Windows/android/my laptop to which the tablet is connected?

Should I install custom recoveries like TWRP or CWM beforehand? I’m sorry, I can’t seem to find a fully explained guide in flashing Mirek’s wonderful ROM. I just got my tablet and I tested it for 1 whole night. The battery depletes 20%+ even when I turn on Airplane mode and did not use it for the night (while sleeping).

Dude, all the instructions are on his first post…(everything is in the same archive..)

    INSTALLATION :

install drivers from archive called – X98_PRO_drivers_and_Intel_Flash_Tool(-if_you_need_them).7z and then
    – iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0.exe
    – IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.5.0.exe
    – PhoneFlashTool_5.3.2.0_win32.exe –> If you want use MFT for flashing ( optional )
     – run the tablet in DnX mode – switch on the tablet pressing [ power, vol+, vol-] at the same time until you will see DnX label
     – plug the USB cable to PC and the tablet and run — > FLASHER_v1.1-(-just_press_twice-).bat
     – later FLASHER app guide you what next –> very easy steps

Thank you very much for your ROM, Mirek. It is awesome compared to the useless teclast anroid. However, may i know the reason why i  couldn’t get 80,000+ on antutu? Also there is something wrong with app drawer(screen shot attached), it opens fine if in landscape orientation but buggy when in portrait orientation.
