Sorry if someone asked the same but i didnt found it yet!
I bought a X98Pro (K9C6) from a guy who used it without android.
So i have only windows on it now but i would like to try mirek’s rom.
I need to do the same steps as in first post or i need some preparation becouse i have no android on it ?!

INSTALLATION :

– install drivers ( if you did not ealier ):
– 1-FIRST_ INSTALL_ IT_! (ADB_drivers).exe
– 2-SECOND INSTALL_IT_! (Intel_ADB_drivers).exee
– run the tablet in DnX mode – switch on the tablet pressing [ power, vol+, vol-] at the same time until you will see DnX label
– plug the USB cable to PC and the tablet and run — > FLASHER_v1.1-(-just_press_twice-).bat
– later FLASHER app guide you what next –> very easy steps ”

Also i would like to ask what “– install drivers ( if you did not ealier ):” drivers for what ?
And do i understand right first and second step is to install that 2 (adb_driver and intel_adb_drivers) to a pc i will flash the tablet from ?

Yes, you understood right, the drivers are meant for a PC, from which you can flash your tablet. The drivers are for your PC can regognize your tablet and then flash it.

 

If that tablet has only windows, I think that the previous owner deleted all android partitions and took all the space for windows. That mean (I think) that if you flash this android rom you will lose your actual windows install.  But you can reinstall a new copy (new install from start) alongside android rom.

buenas amigos una pregunta…..tengo que flasear desde principio o se puede ser del ultimo com los archivos del v6

me esplico….tengo que instalar de uno en uno (v1 al v6) y flasear o  directamente del ultimo …..funcionara o no

y si lo hago con hago con la opcion 1 o o la opcion 2   …..ayudame amigo te ayudare con paypal..

le compre dos tablets x98 pro a mis hijas y estan fallando y como lo sabras esta todo en chino hasta el wiindows.

quiero hacerlo funcional

Hi Jose Javier.

It’s better if you write in english. In this forum there is people from all parts of the world and only a few speak in spanish. You can use Google Translator or so if you do not feel confident writing in english.

Regarding your question, install only latest version. Clean install (option 1)

Although Windows is in chinese, you can swap into spanish easy. Go into languages and install spanish langpack. Mirek ROM is only for Android.

Puedes instalar la última versión la v6 sin ningún problema, elije instalacion limpia y sin borrar windows, suerte…

What am I doing wrong … I could still wonderful to “X98 PRO android 5.1_mirek190_v4.0 rom” install all rom’s, but neither V5 still v6 I get installed at “1-first_ Install_ IT_! (ADB_drivers)” I confirm everything with “yes” and then with “admin-right” after I install “2-SECOND INSTALL_IT_ (Intel_ADB_drivers)!”, both can be installeren wonderful, but it appears no .exe file in the folder “C: \ Program files (x86) \ Intel Android Device USB driver “…. please help. I’m using Windows 10 64 bits per. Thank you very much.

v6 seems a little unstable for me. I did a dirty install from v5 (which was a clean install) Do you think I need to do a clean v6 install?

There are some pending issues with screen. Mirek is testing a new fix in order to resolve it.

Wait until Mirek releases new version.

Hello, first thank you to Mirek for his really great job. I just read the 45 pages of the topic without finding the answer to my problem. I just received last week my X98 Pro, flash the V6 without any problem but now the boot screen where we can choose which OS we want to use doesn’t appear anymore. The tablet boot directly to the last OS used. I still can use the switch between an OS to the other but have to reboot again then. Is it normal, Is there a way to have the boot screen again?

Turn the tablet on with Vol + and Power, I think the brings the menu back…if not its Vol – and Power…

hola me acabo de comprar una teclast x98 pro dual boot y quisiera saber si esta rom sirve para instalarla en el modelo que yo he comprado que es el dual boot es que he visto videos en youtube pero no deja nada claro si la tablet en la que realiza la instalacion de esta rom era version dual o no.
