The X98 plus is very appropriate for office / media consumption. I got 9 hours of battery while using it to read PDF and powerpoints. CPU temperature does not go above 55ºC. Speed is enough to handle documents and web sites.

The X98 pro in turbo mode (2.24 GHz), uses a lot more power, which means more heat and less battery.

It would be my main purpose as well to be reading PDF documents, but I don’t want to switch off Windows but leave on sleep to pickup whenever I am ready. At the same time I want to run with multiple PDF documents open. Windows is better for tabbed PDF viewers and Android better for leaving and picking up again anytime with minimum battery drain.

How is Windows in this last regard? Initially I wanted the Pro, then thought to wait for the dual boot Plus but would get the Plus Windows-only if it suits that need.
