Hi all

 

When mine is plugged in I can feel a minor electric charge from the shell. I have just bought an aftermarket charger to see if same issue. If it goes away will be looking to get original charger replaced.

 

It’s not a shock and from reading may be to do with the fact it’s not earthed like. UK plug. If I lightly touch the pc anywhere on lid or near keypad this happens. If I put whole hand on it it goes as if I am earthing it

 

Anyone else ?

 

Also battery life ain’t great. I flattened that laptop and did clean install then combo of windows update and Xiaomi drivers from site

With an aftermarket charger same issue – tingling in my fingers when its plugged in.  Decent after market charger though (but on way back to amazon as no better than original to solve the issue)

To avoid the tingling sensation you would need a charger with three pin clover connector for the mains lead. Had the same issue with a Lenovo. Essentially they are designed for 110v supplies where leakage isn’t as noticeable. I think.
