Doesn’t sound like it’s turning off correctly? Are you using Intel XTU? sometimes that app can cause the laptop to hang when shutting down.

Also, make sure you use the original drivers. I notice bad battery life on my i5 7200U model and when testing for my review. Then I went back to the original Windows 10 image, updated it to Windows 10 Pro and added English. That Windows 10 install with 100% original drivers and not my own and the battery life improved about 15-20% more. Which I didn’t think was possible, something with the drivers or how it’s configured has a big impact on the battery.

Thanks for the reply. I formatted the disk and installed new italian win10. I also saw that drivers from the xiaomi website gave me lot f errors, so i installed differents from another site (don’t remember if official or not). The bad thing is, i have not the image for the original chinese win10 :/ and i didn’t try battery usage on chinese windows version, so cannot compare. Do you know where can i take the original windows?

The battery also drains for me when the notebook is turned off and I have the original drivers. Does Intel XTU run by default? If so, how do I disable it?

Original Chinese drivers.  I just upgraded to Windows 10 Professional in order to get the English language pack.
