Xiaomi MiPad 2 – How to How to install Windows from USB?

Hi guys, I think I’ve managed to brick my Xiaomi MiPad 2 – Windows.
I’ve done a factory reset and the tablet said “There was a problem resetting your PC” when resetting was completed.

Pressing F2 does take me to BIOS set-up and the tablet PC will only boot to the bios.
I have a USB with Windows 10 Home (64-bit) on it but I am not able to install it.
I am lost in this BIOS, how can I boot windows from USB drive?

I will be very grateful to you if you help me, THX.

Hi,

You need to go into the boot manager and connect a USB pen drive. Make sure it’s formatted correctly so the bios recognises it. Best to use the Media creation tool.

Jiří Škorpil has helped me.
It works with Media creation tool.

My only problem is that I am not able to activate windows.
Error: 0x803f7001
I am about to reinstall it and see what happens…

I have already installed Windows 10…

One of the easiest ways to do that is:
1. Create Windwos USB via Media creation tool with “Windows 10” (OEM KEY doesn’t work with Windows 10 Home Single Language, rufus doesn’t work at all for this tablet).
2. Install Windows (Press F2 to enter BIOS setup)
3. Install drivers
