    Just update the wifi adapter driver to the following:

    Realtek Wireless 802.11b/g/n SDIO Network Adapter
    DriverVer = 08/25/2016,3008.39.0801.2016

    Should work.

    Good luck!

    I spoke too soon, even with the last driver the problem still persists.

    For the moment I am using an external wifi dongle, this takes one of my two available USB connectors….

    Solved!

    Go to Wifi driver – advanced properties and set wireless mode to IEEE 802.11 b/g  instead of  IEEE 802.11 b/g/n.

    This reduces the theoretical max speed from 150 to 54 Mbit/s, but worked very well for me.

    Now wifi is stable, no more drops and immediate connection.

    Try it!
